Default Stanhopea Chocolate Eyes

One of three spikes opened today on this hybrid of Doug Pulley's. It is ( Morman Pioneer X inodora = ruckeri ). The fragrance is similar to that of narcissus.
The first three photos are of Chocolate Eyes the other two are of Morman Pioneer which flowerd last year. It is ( gibbosa X panamensis ) and is also a Pulley hybrid. I think it is a better looking flower.

They are both just wonderful, i love the high flower count. Dr Pulley really knows what he is doing.

Very nice. I like your photos too. Good growing and nicely captured on camera.

The Mormon Pioneer reminds me a lot of a costaricensis plant I had. Lots of red spots!
