My Wine Delight 'JEM' FCC/AOS was the 4th in the Ctsm alliance and I bought it right off the NCOS show floor. It was about 18" tall and I grow inside but no way could I resist it ! Was the biggest I had at the time. Well, you know the growth cycle, it went dormant and in spring started growing, and growing and turned out to be TWICE as big as when I got it !! The plant was 36" tall !! I had it on my lower shelf and the blooms were in the top shelf !! It was a great challenge for me and I loved it ! Story not over yet !!
I took it to the NCOS show and loaned it to the same vendor where I had gotten it. My NCOS friend/AOS judge walks by and says, "what a nice Wine Delight, whose is it ?" Mine I said. "It's a nice BABY plant !" WHAT ??? Oh, yes, they grow to be about 6 feet tall !!!!!!!!!!!!!! I sold it to the next guy that walked by !!!! Been trying ever since to get him to give/sell/trade me a backbulb off that plant but he won't. I gave up.
That was a few years ago, and I find myself today with 41 Ctsm alliance chids and am waiting for my next Wine Delight FCC/AOS to be delivered next week !!! Do you think there's a cure for this ????????? If so, DON'T tell me what it is !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
