Source for Clowesia species?
Searching on the internet, I can't find a U.S. source for Clowesia species.
Does anyone know of growers in the U.S. who have Clowesia species?

Have you tried the orchid specific search engine put together by one of the members?
Here's the link: Google Custom Search - Orchid Nurseries

I would try emailing Fred Clarke from Sunset Valley Orchids. I know that he has at least one Clowesia species and I am sure that he will be able to point you in the right direction. Here is his email address:

Hey David, I dont know if they still have them, but Peach State Orchids in Atlanta used to carry the Clowesia 'Jumbo Grace' and it's still listed on their website. If they have it, they'll likely sell it to you. Good luck in your hunt

Thanks, I have added Peach State to my vendor list as they do list some nice species but the Clowesia 'Jumbo Grace' is a hybrid and I am mostly interested in species.

Yes, he had a Clowesia rosea on his divisions list but it seems to have sold as soon as it got listed. If I don't find any Clowesia species listed for sale I will start contacting likely growers like Fred Clarke to see if they have any singleton Clowesia species tucked away in some corner of a greenhouse that they might be willing to sell. I visited Fred at an SVO open house less than a year ago and got some nice Cattleya, Laelia and Catasetum species so he will be on my short list of growers to contact.

I had looked at their web site before but the link to the availability list was broken. I have now sent them an email to enquire. Thanks.
Edit:
Thanks again. I am exchanging emails with Terry at Pine Ridge. I am going to buy some other Catasetinae from him. He has some Cl. rosea but says they are still too small to sell, he thinks he might have a russelliana somewhere and he is keeping an eye out for it.

Thanks, Terry at Pine Ridge was able to find a Clowesia russelliana for me. It wasn't on his availability list but he thought he might have one or two somewhere so he searched and found one. I am buying the Clowesia russelliana from him as well as a couple of Catasetum species and a couple of Cycnoches species.
