Since you're in Southern California, perhaps you could give Andy or Harry Philips, or Andy's Orchids, a call. I got my Clowesia rosea and Clowesia russelliana from them a number of years ago, and even though neither species is currently listed on their website, it wouldn't hurt to inquire. And Fred Clarke (as someone's already mentioned) is a good source too. He did have Clowesia rosea on his mailing list a couple of months ago, but they did sell out quickly.
