Default Stanhopea embreei

My first blooming orchid in 2011!! Stan embreei has a very long spike (>30cm) and the flowers have a weird scent, the smell remember something chemical, as insecticide!

Hi friends, thanks for looking!

Hi Steve,

It's basketed in a mixture of Chilean sphagnum (~ 60%) with small pieces of styrofoam and charcoal.
Actually I'm still testing the best ratio of sphagnum and "aggregate", I started with 70% sphagnum moss, then lowered to 60% and now I am using only 50%, it seems that fifty/fifty is the best ratio for my growing conditions
