Default which gongora is it?

My first gongora blooming right now and I am very happy! but suppose to be a gongora rufescens and it is not,and I have been looking at the species website and don't see anything similar so maybe someone can recognize this one because I don't like to have something that is not what is says on the label,so please help me.Thanks a lot

Without doing some digging I would guess that its Gongora latibasis. We awarded one at the Toronto Judging center about a year or so ago and the color seems right.

Thank you cowboy51278 for reply,I have checked latibasis and looks like it is not the one, because my lip is with a lot of white and some red and some freckles and latibasis is whole red all over,thanks anyway for helping me.

Just checked back in my judging notes. The one we awarded in June of 08 was very similar to yours (had spots, maybe not quite as much white). It came into the center as unidentified and the species task force identified it as latibasis. I could probably email you a copy of the award photo. Its a little over exposed so you can't really see the true effect of the white on the lip but you can see the spots and get the general idea. Of course, I could still just be wrong
