Default Coryhopea Cutucu

This hybrid (Crths speciosa x Stan florida) came from Ecuagenera. It blooms almost throughout the year, with a few months interval. The scent reminds ripe melons!

Very cool. I can't wait to try one of these (stanhopea). I really like them but haven't gotten any (yet).

I have a small one of those that I got from the same vender, I also have another hybrid coryhopea of two different verities that has grown very large but yet no flowers, she gets plenty of very bright light and good RH, clean water and lots of food. So maybe one day I hope to post some pics of it.

I like your flowers and I wish I could smell it.

The Coryhopeas are such weird looking creatures! lol I would love to smell it though. You say it blooms throughout the year? I might have to try and find one then.

I tried and killed the plant: I got a plant that was potted up into spaghnum. I tend to move all my plants out of spaghnum as it stays too wet for too long in the winter. The Coryhopea did not like it and slowly declined. Maybe worth another try sometimes ...
