i have some stanhopea wardii and embrei that have been in spagnum in baskets for 3 years.. should they be repoted? they look pretty good, some new growths, and bloom regurarly, but they don't look great! with lots of new growths like some of my younger plants which have only been in moss for 1 1/2 years. when is a god time to do the repot? thanks
After you have given your plants good new Sphagnum in good new hanging baskets, after a while they will
be growing new leaf shoots.
Please fertilise well then - 150 ppm per day (best) or 450 ppm every 3 days. Avoid organic fertiliser but use
something like "Peters" (35-10-10) .
