When its growing, I grow mine in bright Cattleya conditions, though you can give higher light to this one in winter.

I was thinking how large this plant have to be to flower... I suppose at least one pseudobulb has to be mature size... I found different sizes on some web sites, some says 10 cm high, some 30 cm ! Could you tell me how large pseudobulbs have to be to flower ? You wrote, that you know other growers, who have flowering specimens...

Well, my plants have one large bulb about the size of a baseball and no blooms yet. The growers I've seen had multiple bulbs the size of a baseball or larger. I think this year's growth should bloom in the spring. *Fingers crossed*

P.S. The plants are very tall and the leaves are probably a good 2-3ft long. Reminds me of the large Spathoglottis plicata that have gone wild here in Hawaii.
