Default Clowesia russelliana

I have bought this plant labelled as Clowesia Rebecca Northen. From the very beginning the plant looked too large to be Rebecca Northen, but the seller insisted it was this hybrid and the plant was a division of a mother plant... even though I was suspicious of the real identity, I bought it "hoping" that it would be something different and interesting and which I would identify later on... well, it was like that the plant has bloomed now and it is a very nice Clowesia russelliana...

Great photos, Ramon! How do you like the fragrance? For such relatively small flowers, this species' blooms produce a very pleasant scent.

If you like clowesias you should try to find Clowesia rosea. The blooms look a lot like Rebecca Northern's, but I think rosea's fragrance is stronger and a more pronounced cinnamon scent (rosea also stays much smaller, in my experience, than the hybrids that have been produced from it).

Gorgeous russelliana! Too bad about the labeling. Seems like you have the worst luck with vendors selling you the wrong plants! I hate it when that happens.
