Cycnoches chlorochilon
This one has been slowly opening for days!!! I don't think it is entirely open yet, but I had to take a picture. And I am pretty sure it is chlorochilon (and not warscewiczii), but of course I could be wrong!

Very nice, Lars, and you're right, it is chlorochilon. How's the fragrance on this one?

It's very nice. I love the combination of yellow and green.
What is the difference between warzewiczii and chlorochilon, anyway? They both look identical to me.

I thought it was right: I read somewhere that chlorochilon flowers are longer than broad

It is not intense: smells a bit like green banana.

Chlor flowers are larger and the petals are more or less parallel to the laballum, while warze flowers are more 'star' shaped... Fragrance is also different. Lots of people have problems separating both species, and most orchid shops don't help much as they very often mix them up...

Boy was I wrong regarding the scent: must have been because the flower was not yet open.
It has an intense and agreeable scent: hard to define, but a mixture of spearmint, eucalyptus and pine. Very intense. Like your ideal bath salt (-:

Not at all like vicks: more like a mixture of different chequing gums!
Of course I may be totally off. My sense of scent is not the most developed. I somewhere read that chlorochilon is supposed to smell like jasmin. Doesn't for me
