Default Stanhopea ( embreei X martiana )

This is much easyer to bloom and is more vigorous than martiana. The embreei used was a plant identified as bucephalus "Ruth Marie Christian'. The martiana was'Oaxaca'.

Really nice hybrid! Which scent did the cross take? Or was it a combo of both parents?

Was this one of Doug Pulley's hybrids?

This is one of Doug Pulley's hybrids, but it is not Ulliey Paterny. Embreei is not the same as bucephalus. The AOS judges mistakenly awarded 'Ruth Marie Christian' as bucephalus which was used for both jenischiana and ocultat but not embreei. Below is Doug Pulley's pic. of Ruth Marie Christian. The second pic is Kenin Bush's pic. of 'Ulli Paterny'.
