This flower is eye-catching insofar as it holds all (all) it's sepals and petals straight overhead.
That's unusual for S. grandiflora ...
Requesting an honest answer :: did you perhaps, just perhaps, manipulate the flower after blossoming ?
Please don't mind the question.
MANFRED.

Manfred,
The flower is pure nature and I did not manipulate the flower. I don't like that. I make the pictures just so what you see.

Greetings Gabriël

Very pretty flower! I did a search on this one and found pictures that look like yours and some that had the petals hanging lower. I think it just depends on the variety(or cultivars?). Anyway, I like the ones with the petals pointing up like yours, they really are eyecatching!

Lovely

Could you perhaps give me (us) a little info on how you grow this one. I can't seem to get mine happy, it just survives but doesn't do much else

What medium it's in and what lighting, please?

That is definitely a very interesting shape. This is one species I have been searching for where I live.
