Catasetum need ID!
Hi folks!
This guy I bought in an Orchid shop in my country. Vendor sure it Catasetum but actually kind of difficult to determine. Now it is a flower bud.
I do not know the shape and the scientific name of it, really nervous and expected. You can give me advice on the shape of flowers and it kind of something. Thanks.

You'll have to wait until the flowers open in a few weeks. Impossible to tell before then.

Bruno,
I trust your knowledge/opinion very much, but how can you tell? I'm curious for my own knowledge!

Jejeje Steve I might be to optimistic in my guess, but I just have two plants now under same conditions as these pictures, I mean, planiceps show a flower spike totally vertical and it blooms when the young sprout is not developed at all. That´s why i am quite sure about this plant too, but there may be 1% of being wrong and it could be, lets wait a few weeks to find out.
