Clowesetum Wyche's Bumble Bee
Clowesetum Wyche's Bumble Bee is rather interesting complex hybrid between Clowesia warczewitzii and Catasetum Susan Fuchs in my opinion. It was registered in 1989 by L.Poole.
This particular hybrid is very variable and at the moment it flowers at my place like that

Fantastic Gena!
How big are the flowers? They look gigantic in the picture.

Very nice looking hybrid! The flowers almost look like they are Dendrobiums. Did the scent from the Clowesia parent come through?

Yes, it is beautifully fragrant with a scent of lemon and something sweet with a slight peppery tone. It is truly delightful (at least to my nose).

You are absolutely right, Ramón, in my opinion! There are quite a number of darker colour forms of this Clowesetum. And, yes, you right again - Catasetum Susan Fuchs is extremely variable in coloration and has a lot of cultivars, so the final result is depending on which particular cultivar of Catasetum is used.

That’s right!

I really like this hybrid.
I find it very interesting that the colors from the Catasetum parents are really weak on Clowesetums, especially compared to Mormodes x Clowesia. I saw the only blooming Ctsm John C Burchett x Clo Rebecca Northen, and it looked very similar to this, despite Ctsm John C Burchetts intense coloration.

Really? and I was expecting a very intense dark colored flower for that hybrid... however, let's see whatthe other plants look like... there are also dark colored Wyche's Bumble Bee (I always thought these light colored one were because of the use of light colored catasetums...)

I personally haven't seen any of the dark ones of these. Also, I would say that most of the Susan Fuchs that I have seen have been pretty red. I know there's some out there that are yellow/white/green, but I figured anybody making this cross would use something like 'Burgundy Chips', or the like.

Beautiful blooms, Gena. It's easy to see the influence of the clowesia parent, and hopefully it inherited the scent from the clowesia as well. Congratulations on your wonderful flowers.
