Default Cycnoches barthiorum question.

This is for those Catasetum experts out there.

I bought a Cycnoches barthiorum at the beggining of last summer and, Like expected, it lost its leaves about 2 and a half months ago. I was wondering when I should expect the new growth to begin again. The same question goes for a catasetum that i bought at the same time.

Apreciate the help!!!!!!

As Steve said, between now and April It can vary from plant to plant and from growing conditions to growing conditions... I have some Catasetinae who started growing in January, while other are still sleeping.. Important is that when they start growing, you do not precipitate watering them... WAIT until the root are about 2-3 inches long before watering! otherwise the risk of loosing your plants can be quite high...
