Default Catasetum schmidtianum

This has been in bloom since last November (I guess it is in the fourth spike since then). The flowers in the photos are quite lighter than is normal in this species, which flowers are really dark..

Wow! Unusual and very beautiful. The spike almost looks like it's on fire with all those blooms. Thanks for the pictures!
