I have had this one for about 18 months or so. Last summer it tried to bloom but when I brought it inside my home it wouldn't flower and the buds all blasted. I think this one needs high humidity to flower in summer, well that's my suspicion anyway. I have kept it under the benches and as you can see it's still missing buds off the first spike to open, I am hopeful that the other spikes all open properly (4 in total) but with the dry winds we've been having it's highly unlikely. There are new growths coming out of the edge of the pot so I will need to repot it as soon as possible but after it's finished flowering.
The plant grows cold down to 32F for me and is growing extremely well. I did have a snail problem and the leaves show the scars from this but aside from that the plant is healthy and grows really well hanging underneath my Den's in the orchid house (next to the Bulbo's). It opened today during our 39C heat.
