Default Mormodes paraensis

Mormodes paraensis is a beautiful Brazilian species which got its name after State of Pará where it was found.
The plant is in flower at the moment.

Gosh gena! You always have something in flower dont you! Its interesting how the flower spikes decided to go oppocite ways. It is like it has blood red wings.

Very nice flower display, specially the last picture which shows the complete beauty of this plant. It is amazing to see how the flowers spikes grew each other in opposite direction. How did you get it ???, because ussually they try to find the light both together in the same direction. By the way pictures are as always outstanding.

Bruno, in my case it’s quite easy to achieve. Because I grow on a windowsill the light comes only from one direction. I just turn plant from time to time when I notice that one of spikes start curve too much. That is it.
