This year I have a very well grown galeandra which finally gave me a cluster of nine white flowers. The flower arrange is very nice but the fragance is really awfull, well may be for humans.

Lovely! I have a few Gals here and just adore the shape of them

How are you growing yours? How large is the plant?
Thanks for sharing

This is a group that I am not too familiar with. Do you grow them like Catasetums? The flowers look great by the way!

My first thought was 'sweet', but only if you hold your nose, I guess. LOL

I grow mine as the rest of catasetums, it just needs more hot and humid conditions. I put mine under a plastic roof to have a hot environment. The one I have is more or less 15 inchers tall.

The fragance is not really stinky but it s for sure not nice. I do not know if you guys have found a cocarache nest, well it smells like that.
