This year the intergeneric cross that I made between Cycnoches chlorochilon x Mormodes buccinator (the one of my avatar) looks much bigger than last year and with a different coloration too. This year flower size doubled last year and it got a darker coloration (dark skin tone). I had the blooming of three more plants and all of them gave me mormodes shape flowers but so clear that they can be classified as albas (see last picture), probably next year there will show different coloration and size. But as I read somewhere else with this plants you may expect the unexpected. Also I would like to mention that this cross has been registered in 1969 and named Thomas Krumpe, however there are no pictures or description in which to make any comparison of the cross. Jean Monnier, said that he has not seen the cross either, speculates that it should be similar to Cynd. Ginger Snap (Monnier 1990, part 3), indeed the color resembles very much. Any way I called as it was registered and now there is at least a picture of the misterious Thomas Krumpe
