...I thinking a cycnoches, but not sure...


btw, it's not my plant. It belongs to a friend who bought it at a garage sale. No name/tag/ID what so ever.

There is some damage to the florescence as the plant was blown over by a wind storm. Nice deep dark red (darker than pic shows)

Not Cycnoches but the hybrid Cycnoches x Mormodes = Cycnodes

Most probably Cycnodes Wine Delight (this is teh most most common of th ered ones), however there is a bunch of Cycnodes with similar color, making it difficult to be 100% correct (same happens with the yellow Cycnodes)

Does it have a strong fragrance, something like cherry Robitussin?
