Default Cycnoches barthiorum question.

Hello everyone!

I have a small Cycnoches barthiorum that I boughth a few months ago. Scince about 3 weeks ago, its leaves started to look old and fading. It started to get very small brown dots and is now yellowing fast and the leaves are falling off. I know that all these catasitinae have a winter rest, but I have a feeling that it is a bit too early. Am I wrong? Also, when I came back from mEXICO the leafeless pseudobulb was slightly shrivelled so I started watering more vigorously. Its ok now but i know that when it starts going dormant, i have to stop watering.
Again am I wrong?

Thanks for youre help!

Wish I could help you, hopefully someone will soon. I would go nuts if I had anything that needed a rest and I couldn't water it. Well maybe not crazy, but I'd drown it.

The timing is right. Your plant is probably just getting sleepy. Any pics?
