I have this catasetum. It almost die on me. I think I gave it too much water. How can I save it now ? I took it off the old pot and put it in a clay pot with rocks only. questions - 1) Should I repot it now ? 2) If I repot it on next spring, how can I do this ? thanks a lot

Your plant looks good to me. I would just leave it where it is not repot it. Since it has new growth, you can water and fertilize this plant A LOT! In fact, the shriveled bulbs mean that it needs more water. Here is a culture sheet for this plant: Sunset Valley Orchids - Grower and hybridizer of quality orchids, Vista CA This plant and its relatives will drop all their leaves and go dormant (sleep), usually in the winter. The website will tell you more.

Well to me the growth of keikis on shriveled pseudo bulbs indicates the plant is dying, but you still have some opportunity to rescue it from a secure dead. Now you have to change the medium and put the plant inside a plastic bag with some water at the bottom and let it growth untill 5 to 6 inches before fertilize. The plant needs some humidity but not direct water on the new growth.
