What an awesome specimen! With all those flowers, I'll bet your growing space is quite intoxicating. Nice show!

In fact it grows happily under the grapes, the climate conditions are perfect (I'm lucky); this summer I'm worried about the rain (too much), there's no more space in the plastic covered part. We can feel the chocolat smell inside my parents home, 30m away!

Welcome Frederico!
What a fantastic display! ) What kind of pot and media do you grow it in? I have an unidentifed Stan. species, and it is growing but doen't look like it will procide blooms anytime soon.

Welcome Frederico!
What an amazing display of blooms. Great growing!

I have a Stan. Species, and it's growing, but doesn't want to to bloom.

stan oculata media & pot
Hello Carol! In this specimen I used only tree fern (xaxim, Dicksonia sellowiana) both pot and fiber. Unfortunately xaxim is now prohibited, I'm triyng a mix of cocconut fiber, pinus bark and sphagnum, but does not work so well . I use organic food in the roots ("bokashi", a japanese mix of fish, humus and so) and chemical in leaves (Peter's or Dyna gro). If I find some xaxim (in Brazil "prohibited" is not so prohibited), I mixed with cocconut fiber and bark, and its very good

Thanks Frederico
I do have a tree fern pot hanging around, and tree fern, coconut fiber, and bark. I'll try it! ( Also have the fertilizer with fish and all kinds of stuff, plus Peter's and Dyna-Grow.)
