Thanks Steve, I have them under light shade all year around, actually I learned a lot admiring them in nature. Here we have two seasons dry and wet. During dry season they are almost on direct sun all day because trees are leafless, but during wet season trees develop new leaves and cychnoches grow under heavy shade. I cannot simulate such conditions in my gree house because I have a lot of cattleyas and other catasetums, light shade works fine, but I will put this one now on more direct sun to obtain female flowers for next comming months, before the end of the year.

I am new to OB and I really like it.

My Cycnoches chlorochilon bloomed 2 flowers in June and now it has 4 flower spikes emerging up and down the main stem. The flowers are the size of the palm of my hand and I love the "spicy banana" reference for the fragrance as I could never verbally describe it. I am looking forward to the Fall and these blooms....
