It looks like these still have triggers? What are the parents?

Hi,
Thanks for the post it is a hybrid I made between catsm.peliatum 'Shaffina' and Clows.Warscewicizii and registered with R.H.S.

Weird. Every Clowesetum I've ever seen is triggerless and has a stigma.

hhhmm.... a weird but interesting onee... Even though the PB is not very Catasetum (Ctsm) like, the flowers looks like straight Catasetum (I personaly do not see much of Cl. in this flower)... As Aceetobe said, Clowesetum (Clo) normally has no triggers, and inherit the column of Clowesia (Cl.)...

On the other hand, you registered the hybrid (I assume, as it has the name of your deceased mother), so I assume you did the cross too.. then, a very interesting and different Clo.
