There are several options, such as Phytamax Orchid Medium (contains Banana powder), Knudson C Modified Orchid Medium etc. Do you have any preference? Or it doesn’t matter?
Well Gena, I do the media by myself at home and it works pretty good so far. I guess that for amateurs like us it is not necessary to spend a lot of money in this game, well the media is not very expensive at least from phytotec lab. I use the knudson C media for germination and for replating the protocorns I use same media but with a good ripe banana puree. Do not use banana in germination media, it delays the development of protocorns. Critical thing in this game is replating protocorns, is when contamination of the bottles are more frequent. I can give you much more detail of how I am doing it latter on, write me a message and then I will explain every thing. Your seeds should be ready by february or march and if every thing goes well as I think you should take them out of the bottles by december.

Great! Than it will be Knudson C Modified Orchid Medium first (I am too lazy to mix it by myself .... it's already enough chemistry for me at my job ).
