Did the labellum open more after the photo was taken?

Hi Bruno De Toni,
I was in venezuela in 1993 and bought this plant from a friend was, told it was from an area between Columbia and Venezuela and I spent a week, hiking till the foot hills of Andes.

Veekay,
that sounds more like the south of the Apure State in the Llanos of Venezuela. That would make sense, as it is a typical region for white Ctsm. pileatum.
