Is this Catasetum tenebrosum ???
I purchased this from a friend and got home and it was missing it's tag. I know that he knows what it is and he told me what it is, but with over 600 orchids now, my brain cannot remember what he said ?! and he is out of reach for right now...
The name sounds right for it, but I wonder because I have it in fairly high light, lo on a lower shelf and it produced male flowers...??
There was a second spike that blasted that appeared to have only yellowish buds on it before it blasted, so not sure if they just hadn't matured enough to turn red/brown yet, or if it might have been putting out a spike of female flowers also...
What do you guy think, Thank in advance for the help!

This is when I know that I have too much going on...
Silly me...Finally looked at my spreadsheet and lo and behold, I have this plant listed, just never put a name tag on it...
It is indeed tenebrosum "Tomiko"
Glad to know that it is a "good one" as I paid a pretty penny for it!
So...Sue, now you have the complete name for the little piece that you took home with you!
