Default Watering Stanhopeas during flowering.

Im gowing to buy a Stanhopea very soon and the first question a had scinse I read that the flowers came from underneighth was that how would you flower it while it is flowering. I understand that the resting period is flowering time but it will still NEED watering some day. How do you do this?

Stanhopeas most often bloom during the summer time, which is a time of active growth. Just water as normal.

The flowers only last a few days, so water doesnt really have time to do that much damage, especially if there is plenty of moving air. If you are worried about water damage, just dont water when the buds open. Your plant should do fine for a few days without water. The buds shouldnt get water damage at all.
