I walked into my kitchen to day and smell some thing great. Stanhopea Assidensis had flowered.

Wow! Gorgeous Stan Assidensis! It has 'solid' dark red/brown color in the sepals! This plant seems to have originated by crossing a Stan tigrina nigroviolacea (not a common tigrina) with wardii, right?
