This opended 6 days ago. It has always bloomed with 3 flowers on each inflorescence and blooms 2 or 3 times a year . It is a seedling that is the result of selfing connata 'Orange Jewel'. The fragrance is simular to the smell of a new leather shoe and a tuch of easter lily. P3010004-0001 A on Flickr - Photo Sharing!
In January Stan. Chocolate Eyes 'Green Ice' was in bloom. This is (inodora X Mormon Pioneer). Its fragrance is a light sent of something between hyacinth and narcissus. There is a photo of it in my Photos.
Those are both great! Ive actually been thinking about getting a conata for myself from Tropical Orchid Farm. They have the 'orange sherbert' clone and it looks really cool. Same care for these ones as all the rest?
I just (today) potted my first Stanhopea that I've had for several months, waiting for new growth and warmer temps. Now I'm seeing yours and I know, I'm onto something that want stop with just 1. Your plant is spectacular!!!!!
