Catasetum pileatum

just wanted to show you all this guy who is currently in bloom at my place... I was hoping it to be a var. aureum, but... I am still wondering why the label says "White/Yellow"

on the other hand, even if a bit dissapointed by the color (as I expected something different!) the plant has ver ygood flowers, slightly larger than the average, and more important: they smell like chewing gum... and that's something I had never seen (smelled

) in a Ctsm pileatum (or any other Ctsm) before....
