Default Coryanthes alborosea

It actually has two spikes, one spike is not mature yet .This is one of my favorites

Thanks for looking glad you like it . It usually has 2 blooms to a spike , and produces 2 spikes at a time several times a year ,I had to take the basket apart it is in just the bottom part of the basket , the spikes come out kinda down but not like a Stan. just enough to become trapped , I think the next one I will try mounted . Gin

Nope it is pure white there is one with pink spots but the name escapes me . Gin

The type form for Coryathes alborosea is in fact white & pink as the name suggests albo=white & rosea=pink. The pure white form I believe is far rarer than the type form here is a link to a very interesting site that should clear this up.

Excellent Gin, the bloom is so unique...to be able to have this on bloom twice a year is such a gift for such a beauty.
