My Cycnodes Wine Delight valiantly tried to bloom, but blasted two buds. At the same time it's been trying to bloom, the leaves are turning slightly yellow, which I know is natural for this plant as it goes into semi-dormancy, I believe, for a few months. Any suggestions on how to have more success in the future? (My other orchid varieties are all doing well and blooming. I grow inside my house.) Also, do I cut the bloom stem completely off now? Thanks!!!

Make sure your plant in bloom is not subject to cold drafts, rapid changes in temperature and harsh chemicals or their fumes. I would cut the stem and hope for a new one!
