Stanhopea embreei
This flowers I could see only in the AOSP orchid show, 'cause I took the plant still in buds to the place of the exhibition. Unfortunately my Stan did not participate in the competition, it had not opened flowers on Thursday

I've taken a liking to the Stanhopeas. I'm having 4 of them shipped to me this week. I can't wait to receive them.

I know that.... I have 4 Stanhopeas Embreii with eyes and without eyes and a significative Stanhopeas collection... they all are very very beautifull.... need a lot of moisture.... here in my country the comun people call them "toritos" = "Bulls" I don't know why!!!!

Maybe it's the "horns"?
Fred, Great plant. The pedicels are so long, they look like they are trying to run away from the spike!
