Default Stanhopea embreei

This flowers I could see only in the AOSP orchid show, 'cause I took the plant still in buds to the place of the exhibition. Unfortunately my Stan did not participate in the competition, it had not opened flowers on Thursday

Perhaps it was being shy for the judging! Perhaps next time! It is very elegant looking! Thanks for sharing the pictures Fredrico!

I've taken a liking to the Stanhopeas. I'm having 4 of them shipped to me this week. I can't wait to receive them.

Maybe it's the "horns"?

Fred, Great plant. The pedicels are so long, they look like they are trying to run away from the spike!
