Can somone tell me if cycnodes is sterile plant,because I am planning to do a hybrid with catasetum species.

There are at least 2 Monnieraras using Cycnodes Wine Delight.
Monnierara Ruby Matrix ( Ctsm. expansum X Cycnodes Wine Delight)
Monnierara Mary Rose ( Cynodes Wine Delight X Ctsm. Susan Fuchs)

Thank you the advise, I have presently have catsm.saccatum with 5 female flowers and it is is from peru.
