Default Stanhopea Grandiflora

You guys are gonna think I'm nuts but I was so afraid that I was going to miss this blooming, I took it down to Sue's house when we went to the Tampa show

Needless to say, it didn't bloom UNTIL THIS MORNING!!!

So as promised, Sue

The scent isn't that bad actually...but if memory serves, it gets worse as the flowers age (which isn't but a few days)

These blooms always blow me away. They're so unusual and just, fantastic. Love the colors on yours. Wish I had the room, I'd be ordering it right now if I did.

Happy and great growing!

How long does the flower last? And how large is it? It looks huge!

I don't think you are crazy either...I would probably do the same thing!!!

The flowers only last a few days at best and the flowers are about 5 to 6 inches across
