Thanks! The problem is, however, that I dont order plants from the mainland because I would need a phytosanitary cert to get plants out here to Hawaii and its expensive. Many of the new hybrids tend to make their way out to the islands eventually and since I go to a good half dozen shows or so, Ill keep my eyes peeled for one these plants! I appreciate the heads up though! Thanks!

I hope that my cycnoches bloom as nicely as yours, although I don't have this particular cross.

I wanted to expand on the description of the scent for this loverly flower.

It would seem that the "older" the flowers get they, er...umm....share this really strange odor and yes, I mean ODOR!!!

I walked into our kitchen last night (the plant is on my windowsill) and I couldn't figure our why there was this smell..I thought my DH had forgotten to take the garbage out...SERIOUSLY...!!! The flowers smelled like dead fish!! , which I guess wouldn't be so bad if there wasn't 20 flowers....

my Cych-NO-ches is SICK-O-NING during the evening hours!!!
