Durring the summer i grow outside under the Crimson King Maple. Luckily durring the colder months one of my professors alows me to overwinter in one of the greenhouses on campus! I have had no problems with the plants being moved or tampered with as there are several other orchid people in the hort program.
The plant in the background is a Gongora truncata that put out 8 spikes last month! Alas I neglected to take pics and of course the blooms are now all past.
The candida likes alot of water and i tend to fertilize weekly, weakly. Darned if the thing isnt blooming right now again and putting out growths at the same time as well. It gets bright diffused light and no direct sunlight at any time. This one likes it bright, wet and steamy!
