yes i have had the same affect on a candida for about 6 months then it seems like it goes dormat for a while no growth then about 6 months it shoots up a leaf and its off again spiking but your is a lot bigger then mine thats a bute.

Candida does have a fragrance. I liken it to wintergreen but ive heard others say its like mothballs! The fragrance can get overpowering in a small enclosed area , but otherwise its one that you catch wiffs of every now again and it gets ya searching through the greenhouse!
