I have grown a number of green orchids over the years, including paphs, catts, even a cymbidium and a neofinetia or two, but nothing I have seen in person has been anywhere remotely as green as these flowers. Just a rich, solid, deep green. This came from SVO and was selected and named by Fred.

These pics are from 9/2024, currently in spike again. Putting the pollen on a green FDK but thus far not successful!

(The green is a tad darker with flash but even in natural light it is much greener than anything I've grown).

Ohh, that's cool! If you have time, I'd love to see this in natural sunlight! Flash just doesn't do it justice.

I promise I will take natural light pics next time! The current spike faded pretty quickly - I took pollen from 3 flowers to keep trying that FDK cross and the other flowers must have shot off the pollinia in short order. Or maybe the fungus gnats did it...

Wowza! Now that is GREEN!

I don't usually care much for the "green" colored blooms of anything, but would sure make an exception for that!
