Thank you, William! I saw your pictures of Cyc. Fire Embers on OrchidRoots—if that’s the one you’re referring to, that’s one clean looking plant…dare I say spotless?But in all seriousness, if it wasn’t mislabeled it’s pretty novel precisely because it doesn’t have spots!

The fragrance puzzled me at first because it didn’t have one yesterday—today I got notes of black pepper, ginger, and clove all riding on a base of like sugar cookies/vanilla I guess? Definitely a sweet, ‘baked goods’ type of fragrance, strangely suited for the holidays as we smell them in North America!

As for the pollen, I’ll sabotage the last flower if anything!
