Default Cycnoches cooperi

Asparagus? Nope. I'm loving ordering orchids in spike. I've brought these along before so no pretense. Can't wait for these coppery flowers. Will update progress. Didn't zero in enough on spike-head in the photo, which looks a lot like asparagus.

These plicate leaves seem to be sounding the dinner bell for scale, though.

Thanks, y'all, for the positive vibes. Much, much appreciated. Can't take credit for the overall health of the plant - it was ordered recently in spike. But I'm stressing to bring it along without interruption. So far, all systems GO. Hoping that the leaves will stay on during flowering. Way prettier photos.
