It does look as though the yellowing areas were facing the sun, and got too much. The angle of the sun is changing as we move towards Fall.

I was thinking the same. Shady conditions, then it got blasted with a few hours of sun.
I think this plant could use a bit more sun, but slowly introduced incrementally so it doesn't get additional sun stress.
