Galeandra dives (or is it?)
Default Galeandra dives (or is it?)

I got this plant nearly 3 years ago under the name Galeandra dives from an importer AOS results turn out different things; their SITF blog has an entry for the species that looks identical to mine under the clonal name ‘Palace’ though none that look like it under the awards.

from AOS Galeandra leptoceras ‘Adelaida’ looks like identical including the little spots

seems like it could at one point have been what used to be Galeandra flaveola (now dives)

TL;DR: is this Galeandra dives?

The IOSPE entry for Galeandra dives has photos of the flower structure. You could compare.

I checked and while similar to the image provided, it looks v much like their entry for Galeandra flaveola which is now dives according to Plants of the World.

can't help you with ID but love it. you don't see a lot of galeandras these days which is a shame although I am starting to see a bit more. love these flowers. (also some intergenetic hybrids with other catasetums starting to come out too)

Color is not likely what will determine the species. Check floral characteristics, as estacion seca advised.
