Hi Friends,
A friend of mine got a Graphorchis concolor var alphabetica and She was told to treat It like a catasetinae, but I see It comes from Madagascar. May anyone give us some tips of cultivation?

Had to look for that one.. I have corrected the spelling in the thread header so that when people search they'll find the thread. (You can edit your text if you wish) A new genus for me!! It's definitely a member of the Cymbidae like Catasetinae and Eulophia (and Cymbidium) As for whether it needs the severe drying that Catasetinae get, I couldn't determine from the small amount of information in IOSPE

If it were my plant, I would observe it... if it drops leaves, then reduce water. Remember that its habitat is very humid - so if it is kept in a dryer place - like in the house - it may want reduced water but not "no water" . In a humid greenhouse, maybe much less water. So let the plant tell you (and your friend) what it wants. If it stays leafy, then it would need some water.
