There are times when I wish I had those! Whenever my wifi acts up, I have to do a lot of reaching and button pushing to toggle them off or on. Like everything else in life, there's no perfect solution. It's probably worth it to hold on to those old school timers for times when there's no accaptable room for failure (like longer vacations).

Don't feel alone. I have that one as well, and I don't foresee changing anytime soon. (I don't trust Google or Alexa)

You're not the only one, and I'll forever be the last person to have any 'smart' devices at home. This is for privacy (large scale data collection) and security reasons (anything connected to internet can be hacked and 'smart' products often don't get enough/any security updates).
