I'll be returning this plant to the vendor as it's not the one I wanted but since it's starting to bloom, I thought I'd post a

Hopefully, Mike will get the credit applied to my card! It's been two days and no sign of it. I emailed him a few minutes ago, hoping for a reply soon.

The more it opens, the more I'm thinking I might keep it if the credit doesn't happen today

Hey Sue! Check your messages!

This one is VERY exceptional, I really do feel you have a great buy and superb colored and formed plant, though! I am sure someone else can vouch that this is absolutely stunning for such an overall bland genus. Maybe you can make a deal with EOoM, perhaps on your next order or something?

As soon as I am back home, I'll send you a nice division of my Peristeria elata, if you'd like!

Jeez, I am really missing a few brain cells this week! I didn't see your PM till just now...sorry Pat

I'm on a roller coaster with this one! I'm leaning towards keeping it, especially since it hasn't been credited yet, that I know of.

I appreciate your offer too!
We'll talk when you get home

Thanks

Hey Sue!

I did a little more research on this plant you got... Peristeria pendula did not seem like a good fit, but the plant sure looks like it.

Well, your plant actually looks to be a Lycomormium species... which one, I do not know.

I can NOT believe you're even thinking of sending that one back to Hawaii! It's a really interestng one with nice color too!

Keep it and get another one: problem solved.

Thanks Pat...now I'm even MORE confused! LOL

The more I look at...and smell...this plant, the more I waiver on whether or not to keep it. The fragrance is very spicy and v-e-r-y strong! You can smell it from practically anywhere in the backyard! Amazing!!!
The petals on this one are also very stiff, they feel like a very hard plastic, no "give" at all...interesting to say the least

At this point, I still don't have the credit on my card and Mike hasn't answered my last email, so I'm back to being ticked off about it. Just on principle, I think it has to go back!

In the meantime, here are some updated

I'd keep it too. Actually, I tried this several times, unsuccessfully, needless to say.
